The Full Day Athens City Tour will begin from the pickup point that you desire.Our first visit will be the historic Panathenaic Stadium, which is where the first Modern Olympic Games took place back in 1896.

From here we head to the Andrianou Gate, which is only a short distance away located in Amalias Avenue, with a height of eighteen meters (59 feet).

We then pay a visit to the Temple of Olympian Zeus, which is a Greco-Roman temple in the center of Athens, southeast of Acropolis, which at its time was the largest temple of Greece.

After we will visit the Acropolis Museum, where we can take a stroll through the exhibition and speak to a Museum Archaeologist. A host is available to answer any questions or queries you have if a guide does not accompany you. Visit the Parthenon Gallery on the third floor with its unique views of the Acropolis.

From the museum, we head up to the Acropolis to enjoy the majestic Parthenon temple, and enjoy the unique views of the city. Here we can walk around the wonderful setting, taking in the thousands of years of history all around us.

We can then head up to the highest point of Athens, Lycabettus Hill, and enjoy some of the magical views from the top. At the chapel of Agios Nikolaos, you can enjoy the panoramic views of the Acropolis and Parthenon, the Panathenaic Stadium, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and many more parts of the city.

After visiting Lycabettus Hill, we will stop at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and then have the opportunity to visit the traditional market of Plaka where you can find traditional goods, and have lunch in one of the traditional taverns of the area.

Our tour will continue with a visit to the National Garden. At the end of our tour, we will visit the Ancient University, the Ancient Academy, and the Ancient Library.

If time allows us you can also visit some of the most important Museums in Athens such as the National Archaeological Museum, Benaki Museum, Herakleidon Museum of Art, Museum of Greek Folt Art, the Jewish Museum, the War Museum and many more to choose from that your driver will also suggest.

Your full day tour will end by dropping you off back to your hotel, or anywhere else you may require.
