Tour Duration: 5 Hours

Our Half Day Athens City Tour will begin from the pickup point that you will set. Our first stop will be to the Panathenaic Stadium (where the first modern Olympics were held in 1896).

Our next destination to see will be the Andrianou Gate, which is located in Amalias Avenue and its height is eighteen meters (59 feet).

From here we pop next door to The Temple of Olympian Zeus, which is also known as the Olympeon, which is a Greco-Roman temple in the center of Athens, southeast of Acropolis. At its time was the largest temple of Greece.

Our next stop is to the Acropolis Museum, which is one of the most unique and inspiring museums in the world, showcasing artifacts from the Parthenon and Acropolis of Athens.

From the museum, we head across to the Acropolis to pay a visit, where you can see the magical sights of the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, the Temple of Athena Nike and the sights of the south slope such as the Theatre of Dionysos and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus.

We then head up to Lycabettus Hill, which is the highest point in the city. From here you can enjoy some stunning panoramic views that stretch all the way across the city out to sea. On a clear day, you can see the island of Aegina, and the mountains of the Peloponnese.

Our tour will continue with a visit to the beautiful National Gardens, where you can enjoy a walk around the shaded and colourful gardens.

At the end of our tour we will visit the Ancient University, the Ancient Academy, and the Ancient Library. We can also stop somewhere for lunch or a bite to eat if you are feeling hungry at the end of the tour.
